Hello Eric & Pascal:
I want to thank you for coordinating the removal and replacement of the covering for the ceiling units. The work was done professionally and promptly and the two workers could not have been more helpful.
Thank you once again for the provided service.

We would like to thank you all again for making this year’s Dining by Design such a success. Without your help, we could not have created such a beautiful dining pavilion.
Best regards,

Thank you for helping us build such a beautiful job. When I was there punch listing a bunch of newbies were being taken around. The message was: “That’s what a job is supposed to look like”. Will stay in touch on Wilmer

Pascal –
I hope this note finds you well, and that business is strong.
I was just speaking with David Wilburn here, and I realized that I should thank you, on behalf of the entire museum, for your incredible responsiveness in accommodating our service requests. Your team is excellent at our various planned service calls, during which we maintain ceilings and lighting equipment. Even more impressive is your response to our occasional emergency situation. Often these emergencies are responded to the next day or even the same day. And in that regard, we especially value your colleague Tim Greco. The crews that Tim has sent have all been professional, efficient and willing to go the extra mile. We could ask for nothing more.
If we can be helpful in promoting this side of your business, please don’t hesitate to ask. You have a very satisfied customer. One of very long standing, I should add.
And we intend to keep it that way.
Best wishes!

Eric, how are you.
Jose and Jorge have installed the ceiling panel yesterday. It looks great. Thank you! They were properly equipped and skilful, so we have easily performed small adjustments in the field. Thank you again.
Looking forward to work with Newmat in the future.

Dear Pascal:Thanks to your generous support, NYIT’s 2007 Solar Decathlon team proved that it could more than hold its own in a field of tough competitors, outscoring schools such as MIT, Cornell, and Carnegie Mellon and placing twelfth overall.During the past two years, NYIT’s team members embraced the competition’s mission of advancing energy alternatives and pushed the limits with their design and creativity. Judges praised our entry, OPEN House, for its “great workmanship,” “well-executed” design, and “marvelous” dining space, among many other features. The whole Solar Decathlon experience was, in the words of architecture student jessica Alzate, “intense.” But she and the rest of the multi-disciplinary team thrived on the challenging competition that allowed them to utilize many of the skills they have been learning in NYIT’s classrooms. They know their Solar Decathlon experience will help them achieve their goals; after all, the 2005 competition helped several team members launch successful careers, with three even starting their own companies. We are proud to report that OPEN House was seen by more than 200,000 visitors who toured the solar neighborhood on the National Mall in Washington D.C. for the lO-day competition earlier this month. Our house received coverage by The New York Times, New York Newsday, Chicago Tribune, WCBS-TV, Fox 5, WINS-AM 1010, and WCBS-AM 880 and was featured on several national news programs, including National Public Radio’s (NPR) All Things Considered and ABC World News online. In addition, our house was selected to appear in documentaries produced by Discovery Planet Green and DIY Network. As you can see, we have a lot to be proud of. Thank you for your generous support, which helped make the Solar Decathlon a shining success for our students.

As you are probably aware of by now, we received our final occupancy inspections for the Democracy Tower base building project in early August and the last of the College Board tenant floor occupancy inspections was received in early September. Both Boston Properties and the College Board have given high praise, are extremely grateful and are proud of the product that HITT and its subcontractors provided them in the successful completion of this “LEED Silver” project. While this marks the end of a string of successful base building projects for HITT with Boston Properties in the Reston Town Center, we can all be confident that we have exceeded Boston Properties expectations and that they recognize that even under the toughest circumstances that HITT & its subcontractors have a proven ability for providing a quality product, on time & within budget.HITT would like to take this opportunity to provide some specific comments with regards to Newmat USA Ltd’s performance on this project. With any project there are inevitably going to be some issues that need to be overcome and on the Democracy Tower it was eventually the Newmat ceiling that ended up being one with a lightning rod attached to it. Issues ranging from payment terms, light fixture layouts, switching requirements, limits switching and manufacturing and installation issues all plagued this single ceiling in the main lobby of the project. However, in the end we have a product that the Owner and Design Team have found acceptable and the continued efforts by Newmat USA to get it there are not forgotten. It is for these reasons that HITT Contracting, at Democracy Tower, would like to express our sincere appreciation to Newmat USA Ltd for its contributions to this successful project. We would like to recognize & especially commend the efforts of your management leaders: Eric Greco and Tim Greco, along with your field forces whose diligent work, focus on quality & other positive qualities have shown that Newmat USA Ltd is dedicated to their product and that together with HITT Contracting we have a relationship that works successfully. We hope that the feeling is mutual and we look forward to continuing our positive relationship on future projects.Sincerely,
David A Underwood,
Vice President of HITT
