Project: For this new hospital, which replaces the old Wishard Hospital, HOK specified Newmat for many different applications.
We supplied and installed 151 double-layer NEW/LIGHT translucent panels for corridor areas with concealed edge (approximately 6,240 square feet) using T0B3S and T10 with powder-coated ghost pivot panel extrusion and pivot suspension.
Also installed were 15 NEW/LIGHT double-layer systems (approximately 1,000 square feet total) for radiology rooms using T0B3S and T10 membranes with ghost 2LS aluminum perimeters.
Finally, 65 NEW/ACOUSTIC ceilings (approximately 2,500 square feet total) were installed for corridors and waiting areas using ACM15 with ghost perimeter profiles.
The final result is both elegant and highly functional for this state-of-the-art hospital environment.
